Michael Tanha is a dedicated entrepreneur and business leader with a passion for environmentalism. Currently established in Los Angeles, Michael has dedicated the last several years of his career to making a tangible impact on the world around him — not only as it relates to the projects he and his team launch, but how those projects make a positive impact on the global ecosystem as well.

As it stands, Michael serves as the President of The Madera Group, an environmentally-friendly and forward-thinking hospitality company whose mission is to drive the restuaurant industry toward sustainability. The group oversees the maintenance and operations of two unique dining experiences, Tocaya Organica and Toca Madera, which present guests with a range of modern Mexican cuisine tailored to match their dietary requirements and the group’s rigorous environmental standards.

Although he never anticipated working in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Michael Tanha has not regretted his career shift in the slightest. Since stepping into his current role with The Madera Group, Michael has experienced a sense of fulfillment he had never thought possible before.

Whether he is working alongside the team to match their food preparation, storage, and sourcing techniques with the latest environmentally-conscious trends, watching one of their restaurants open a new location, or developing the team professionally, Michael is thankful for the opportunity and excited to see how The Madera Group continues to better the world, one step at a time.
